I haven't been doing much tatting lately. I have been doing bobbinlace instead my other love. I just finished this Schneeberger Laced King. The pattern was designed by Jean Eke and was in Lace Magazine number 112. I decided to do it in colors...which made it harder to make. I might someday do it again in the traditional white. Anyhow...here are a couple pictures. One is the mess during the making and the second picture is the finished king.
I am not too sure if I am happy with the way he came out. But it is too late now...he is off the pillow.
I am not sure as to what I will do or make next. I do know that it would help me if I had size 50/2 thread. I guess I will have to order some.
Halloween is fast approaching. We got some candy today....it is going to be really hard for me to stay out of the Almond Joys. They are one of my favorite candy bars...but I have been warned not to touch...LOL
Since Halloween is coming I was thinking of writing another Celtic Gang story for the weekend. So be looking for it....it will be another one of my wacky thought up stories full of gouls, witches....and all the things that go bump into the night.

Cool king, by the way. You make me so envious with your floozy pillow and beautiful bobbins, by the way.

Hi Erin...guess what...that pillow isn't Ms. Floozy. That is my el cheapo pillow that I use alot when I am making flat pieces of lace. It gets used alot. I have already started another project on that pillow. Haven't had much time to work in it this weekend though.
Ah...the wire boat...I am planing on typing till my heart's content tomorrow probably during the day sometime....
Thanks for the compliment on my King. Probably should have done him in white...oh well....
