How about more pictures...can you stand that???!!!!

In the saecond picture is all my homework from the classes I took. The earrings and necklace part are from Nina Libin's class. Very elegant! The two hearts are from a class that I took from Martha. Once you get your mind set this is an easy pattern to make. And then there is Jane Eborall's angel that Riet taught. So yup I did finish all my class projects and then some....Hey I was on a roll here.

In the second picture is some of the treasure I bought home...tatting and bobbinlace made by someone else's hands. The two heart bookmarks were on the table at the banquet. Everybody got one or two I believe. There is a name for the heart pattern but I can't remember it right now. I believe the pattern is on the Palmetto's Website.http://www.palmettotatters.org/

The teapot is from an exchange I did with Martha Ess. And look she even made it in purple. I am so l.oving her teapots though truth to be told...I hate tea...but love teapots...LOL Here is a picture of what I made for her

The bobbinlace bookmark was made by my friend Erin ..and the beaded bracelet is also made by Erin...it just needs a clasp. I also have one of Martha "Beep Beep" birdies. This is one very cool looking bird.

When I went shopping with Erin we went on a bead hunt. So I have more beads. Since I was charged for my one suitcase that I took with me ....Erin sent some of my stuff home by mail. So after I got home I had more tattingGinny Weather's Daughter Misty is expecting a baby which will be Ginny's first grandchild. Karey asked some of us in the guild to make a quilt square to become a baby quilt for the baby. Here is a picture of my quilt block and a picture that Karey sent around of the finished baby quilt. It was a nice idea that Karey came up with.

In my quilt block I have the letter "B" from the new alphabet and number tatting book sold by Handy Hands and the letter "B" stands for blue bear and balloons. The bear and balloon patterns were from Pam Palmer "Tatting Treats" book.

Now for some other pictures from Palmetto's Tat Day Event. Enjoy the pictures.

This morning I had to get up early and head to Rochester, N.Y. to get a biopsy done. I have to tell you the needle was not pleasant at all. It hurt like HELL!! Now I have to wait one week to one and a half weeks for the biopsy result.
The rest of the day was spent tatting and watching Peyton and Timmy. Since I don't like doing the driving thing in Rochester ( it is a real big city!) My husband had to take the day off from work to drive me to my appointment.

So enough of the personal stuff and onward to uploading more pictures from my week and weekend in the South where the sun shined most of the time.
The second day of my visiting my friend Erin....we hit the bead stores and craft stores...and then Erin treated me out to Macaroni Grill restraunt. Mac and Grill is my favorite restraunt I think. And the food was so good and there was so much that it had to be carted off in a box which became my din din the next evening. And the Rosemary Bread is to die for....yum...yum.

And guess what....this time on my way to Palmetto Tat Day we actually stopped at the Hobby Lobby and went in the store...my, oh my..Raymond said we could go in this time....LOL

And now more people pictures...

Someone requested a picture of some of the tatting so I will leave you with one picture of tatting this evening. It is a teapot designed and made by Martha Ess. We did an exchange...and I will show you our exchanges the next time I am in front of my computer being just ordinarily brain dead.

Today is people picture day...these were taken at PTD in South Carolina...if you are wondering who somebody is....send me an email...and I will see if I can tell you or not. Enjoy!

This is all I have time to upload for now...more the next time I find the time to upload.

This is the begining of my trip...it started in Rochester, New York on September2nd.2008. It use to be before September 11th, happened that once you got your ticket you could walk anywhere in the airport. Now you can't. I can remember Mark Myers and I both walking around the airport and having a hot drink. Now in order to be infront of this stain glass window showing a jet you have to go through security first. Mark....do you remember the stain glass...how about you Erin?

In the other pictures here is a cool looking clock that use to be inside a big mall called Midtown Mall which was located downtown Rochester. On the half hour and hour the displays of different countries open up and all the displays go around.
Also here is one of the horses that some art class somewhere did. These same horses are all over Canandaigua and each one has a painted theme to it...like there is also one for fishing and has fish bait shops and so on all over the horse.

I can remember seeing this clock inside the mall when I was a little girl. I have been back to that mall since...but I do remember the clock.

I noticed that in Greater Rochester Airport they had different displays related to aviation. Hanging planes and the tower I believe. I noticed that O'Hara Airport also had a aviation display.

And take a lookie here...I think that is Chicago I see out my plane window...which means I was in the state of Il. I have been in Chicago a few times now...but just inside of O'Hara Airport is all. But here is a picture I took of a plane they had there and also the write up of the person that the airport is named for. but see Mark...I am waving to you from Chicago...LOL

The first night at Erin's house we just vegatated we talked alot about tatting and what we were going to take with us and what classes we were going to take, read our email...lamented over the fact we didn't have Mark to pick on this year and so on. We were getting our tears all over our shuttles...

Part of the show and tell was a bobbinlace pillow. Back when I was sick this year I was doing alot of heave hoeing and selling stuff and I guess I was crazy ( more than usual that is) I sent and gave to Erin two pillows that I had and decided I didn't want any more. Both pillows needed some kind of work...Here is a picture of the antique French pillow I gave here. It looks so very beautiful now. I hope Erin finds time to make lace on it. But Erin did a terrific job on the pillow...kinda funny it isn't pink but more of my kind of colors huh?
The other pillow she is working on is going to be in pinks.

Celtic here....as soon as I get my head on straight again and out of the clouds from the week I had with Sherry and Erin....I will tell you mine and Sherry's story. For now here is just one picture to hold you over until I can find some time to sit in front of Micheangelo (Sherry's computer) and tell the Tale of our adventure.

Okay two pictures.....Here I am getting a really, really, and really great hug from my friend Erin Holloway when I got off the plane in Knoxville, Tennesee.

Here is a part of an edging that I have been working on that is on my Ms. Floozy roller pillow. I know it is a simple edge and I can do it with my eyes shut just about..But it does show the Honeycomb Ground.

Now for my show and tell....As you can see I decided to help support the tatting community's Gifted People so they will continue to come up with new toy and bags and just fun stuff for us tatters. That is my real story and I am sticking to it and Janey, O Janey I am sorry for making you wait so long...but you were right my baggies came in the mail yesterday.
I think anyone looking at this set can see me written all over it. I love it. I Love the zipper which Janey was a real expert for putting the zippers in... I always think they are a pain even though I can sew also and put zippers in...going on here...This set is really awsome. It is expertly made, Love the print...the inside of the zipper bag is lined and oh yes...there is Janey, O Janey's label...Made in England by Jane Eborall. I also think it is neat for somebody I knew made it...so that makes it special...but when I saw this set of Janey Baggies...I have to have it. Even though Jane emailed me and told me how I was a lucky girl...I guess I was in the right place at the right time...but that is another story.
Also...didn't I tell you I would be making this cute and very professional dragon. So here is mine made out of tatting thread..."Royality" HDT by Sherry Pence. So I am naming my dragon...Dusk to Midnight. The designer's name is Anne Bruvold
http://nuperelle.blogspot.com/ This is the address to Anne's Blog where you can find the pattern. I think tomorrow while babysitting I might make more of the dragons and give them to my Grandsons.
Now I go back home to Lukdom.

What a day today....dentist for me and Michelle. Michelle (my daughte) is done for awhile, but I have one more appointment and then I will be set too. I am having four things done at one...to get rid of two root tips from where my teeth broke while I was in Ireland eating something and I can't remember now. The one tooth had a root canal with a temperary cap and my dentist at that time said the tooth would be okay until I came back from overseas...he was wrong and all the money I paid ( root canals are NOT cheap, so that money went down the sink and I am having a couple small cavities taken care of and then as far as my teeth go...I will be set for a long time I hope. But I am regretting the next appointment big time. But I have the best dentist too so hopefully it won't be too awful.

I took my UK Lace Magazine with me to the doctor's office and guess what....I didn't bring even one pair of magnifying glasses with me. Which means I just did some people watching for awhile. But that was Poop number "1".

The other thing is I went and saw my medical doctor today. I was told I had skin cancer and he referred me to a dermatologist and said I needed to get in as soon as possible. Well...I had my suspicious and I was right. Now to find out how far it has gone and what they are going to do about it. Yikes.... This is Poop number "2".

My battery charger and batteries for some reason are not charging so it looks like I have to get another one...but at the moment I bought something else and now I don't have the money to buy the charger...well I am sure I will get one soon for I love my camera...it is just I can't take any pictures right now. OH POOP!!!! Which means I have no pictures to show and tell with ...that is another POOP....Oh well that is my day today....
