Louise Colgan's Milanese Butterfly...
I just finished this butterfly in Milanese Lace. The pattern is from Louise Colgan's Milanese Book that I have. I changed the way the inner parts of the wings were done. Yup folks...I can't even leave bobbinlace alone but like to do my own thing...so...anyhow...the picture on the left is Louise Colgan's Butterfly...the one on the right is mine. Not sure if I like it or not...what I did...but it is now done and off my pillow...I am thinking of doing her heart pattern next.
Here is one more picture of my butterfly. I know in the picture that the one thread color looks kinda reddish pink...but the thread color is actually a plum purple color with pale lilac and a true blue. Looks different in the pictures...

Wowie wow, Sherry!
That turned out beeyoodeeful! Now I'm all inspired to finish up that heart. Yes, I know I promised you a pic, and it's on its way. I've been dealing with a hardware/software crisis at work which is about to drive me nuts. I've had no personal life since last weekend (right after I spoke with you). Oh, seeing that butterfly just picked me back up! Gorgeous!
Magnifique! J'adore votre interprétation. La dentelle vient du cœur et il faut le laisser libre d'aller où il veut: s'en est que plus beau.
Bonne journée et bonne dentelle.
